The CLH marine centrifugal pump Feather:
a. Curved blades to ensure low NPSH-values and high efficiency impeller, it is close type, statically and dynamically balanced .
b. Shaft supported by radial and thrust ball bearings either grease or self-lubricated.
c. High quality replaceable mechanical shaft seal of an approved brand; it is carbon/ceramics/stainless steel material. A special mechanical seal for temperature higher than 120 C.
d. Bronze pump casing&body, impellers and stainless steel shaft as standard for sea water.
e. Flanges are usually in Chinese GB standard. However other standard flanges in EN(DIN), ANSI, and JIS and so on, can be also provided.

The CLH pump, in spacer coupling type and monoblock(direct) type design. The pumps are available in sizes ranging from 25 mm to 250 mm on the suction flange. The suction flange is bigger than the discharge flange in 2 poles motor pump; or it is same with the discharge flange in 4 poles motor pump.

Shaft and shaft seal: basically there are two kinds of shaft sealing: the packing and the mechanical seal, a mechanical shaft seal with stainless steel shaft is a standard.
Bearings: the pump shaft is guided by antifriction bearings. It is usually designed for grease lubrication(standard) or oil lubrication.
Material for wet part: pump impeller, pump cover & casing(body) are in brozne for standard for sea water; while for fresh water, cast iron pump casing is optional
Motor: in high class and insulation level, TEFC, IEC standard, 50Hz or 60Hz; especially designed for marine and off shore purpose.

–Motor: 2 or 4 pole quality IEC motor configurations, with high level class(class F or higher) and insulation(insulation IP44 or higher), in both 50Hz or 60Hz, Y-H series, suitable for marine purpose, Starting in direct type(small power) or Star-delta type.
–Material: pump casing/cover: bronze(sea water) or cast iron(fresh water), pump impeller: bronze, shaft and key, stainless steel
–Shaft seal: mechanical seal, material: SIC(silicon carbide),hard alloy and ceramics, double face mechanical seal for big power pump.
–Coupling: flexible coupling type, material in carbon steel, or monoblock type(model marked with Z)
–Bearing: motor side, two enclosed antifriction bearing, lubricated by grease; pump side, upper antifriction bearing, lower thrust bearing, lubricated by oil or grease.(no pump bearing for model marked with Z)
–Priming: air ejector type, pressure for the compressing air: 0.5 to 0.7 Mpa, air consumption for the compressing air: 0.12 m3 per min. source: single phase/50Hz or 60Hz, self-priming height 6 to 7 meter(specially for the self-priming request)
–Accessory: motor terminal box, lifting hooks, grease nipple, oil cup, air vent plug, drain plug, gauge connection plug and so on. self-priming ejector(for self-priming request)
